Input unit:
Ø The unit which is responsible for getting input from the user for the computer is called input unit.

Output unit:
Ø The unit which is responsible to show the response of computer to the user is called output unit.

Ø Displaying the processing thought output devices.
Ø Or
Ø Displaying data through output devices for users.
The output devices are:
· Monitor
· Printer
· Speakers
· Secondary storage devices etc.
Central processing unit:
Ø The central processing unit is the brain if the computer system .
Ø This is the administrative section of the computer.
Ø It supervises the operations of the other computer units.
Ø The cpu is connected to all parts of the computer.
Ø The cpu receives the data/instruction given by the user processes accordingly and produce the output.
Ø The cpu not only executes the instruction but also all other activities whose temporary storage of data, input/output activities all are attached with it
Storage unit:
Ø This unit is to store the data permanently for the user use is called storage unit .
There are following storage devices
· Hard disk
· Floppy disk
· Usbs
· Card i.e., memory cards
Ø In this unit hard disk can store data in a huge amount .
Ø Through this unit the data is transferred from one computer to another.
